NSA Oregon: Time to Shine: Giving Your LinkedIn Page the Glow Up You Deserve

October 10, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm MST

Time to Shine: Giving Your LinkedIn Page the Glow Up You Deserve

LinkedIn is the professional’s social network. With over 800 million members worldwide, LinkedIn has become the official place for increasing industry connections, demonstrating thought leadership, and exchanging ideas that inspire change. In 2021, LinkedIn saw a 51% increase in conversations between connections and content earned 9 Billion impressions!

If you are building a career or pivoting to new opportunities, you must be active where business happens online. But for most people renewing interest in LinkedIn is easier than actually participating. The culture and customs are a bit different than other social networks we use everyday.

In this session, you’ll learn how to give your LinkedIn profile the glow-up it deserves (after all, it represents YOU!) from Lauren Teague, one of sports’ original social media managers. She will share her secrets to build your LinkedIn skills and see results in just 15 minutes per day. Come ready to get connected and ask your questions about how to make LinkedIn work for your business.

(Join us at 6:15 for virtual networking!)

About Lauren Teague

Lauren knows the secret to building a great business is cultivating fandom rather than followers. She is a sought-after marketing consultant, an acclaimed international marketing speaker, and the founder of the re-commerce startup FanWagn.

A true “digital native,” Lauren’s Twitter account is old enough to be a teenager. For over 15 years, her career has weaved through media, startups, non-profits, agencies, event management, and professional sports — including seven seasons as the original voice of @PGATOUR social media.

She’s the only strategist anywhere with a client list this diverse: Mega-retail brands (Cabela’s, TaylorMade), tourism hotspots (Grand Ole Opry, Tourism Alberta), notable sports figures (Jason Day, Hal Higdon), and technology giants (SAP, Cisco), to name a few.

Her entrepreneurial endeavors are powered by collaboration. While supporting her own clients, she contributes to Convince & Convert and Brain+Trust Partners, co-produces Sports PR Summit, co-hosted the Mom Buns Podcast, and is the President of her children’s co-op preschool.

Lauren used to be a single-digit handicap golfer but now gets in 9 at a time — usually on the local par-3 course — with at least one of her three #TinyTeagues in tow. In her remaining free time, she is President-Elect of National Speakers Association Oregon chapter and active in Women in Sports & Entertainment (WISE) and the Canby Area Chamber of Commerce. You can find and follow her on social media as @LaurenTTeague.
