We’re kicking off our season with a burst of energy, laughter, and learning! Join us for an interactive, high-impact workshop with the talented team from ComedySportz Portland.
Improv isn’t just about making things up on stage—it’s about observing, connecting, and responding in real time. Great improvisers (and great speakers) share the ability to:
- Listen for value
- Adapt to changing circumstances
- Roll with the unexpected
- Let go of mistakes and keep moving
This session gives you the chance to play with these skills in a fun, supportive environment. You’ll be laughing within the first minute, and leave with tools you can put to use immediately in your speaking, storytelling, and client interactions.
Founded in 1993, CSz Portland has delivered over 6,000 performances and 2,000 workshops for clients including Nike, Intel, Apple, OHSU, Federal Public Defenders, and more. Their work in Applied Improvisation brings proven techniques to organizations large and small.
Your guide for the evening is Rick Steadman, owner and GM of CSz Portland. With over 25 years of improv teaching in three cities, Rick brings a deep well of experience, along with voiceover and MC credits, and even a Superbowl commercial appearance.
