About
Ricardo J. Vargas does not design a talk around what he wants an audience to remember about him. He starts with a different question: What should be different after people leave the room?
A psychologist, researcher, management consultant, executive coach, and Certified Speaking Professional, Ricardo has spent more than 30 years working at the intersection of leadership, strategy, and organizational transformation. Speaking is one expression of that work, not a separate profession disconnected from it.
His talks are designed from the organizational challenge backward. He wants people first to understand their own situation in relation to what the organization is trying to achieve; then to see that situation differently; then to leave with an idea they can act on and language they can use with others.
That makes Ricardo particularly suited to internal events where the stakes extend beyond the event itself: leadership conferences and off-sites, strategy and transformation meetings, mergers and integrations, restructuring, technology implementation, accelerated growth, and company-wide change.
He uses stories extensively, but the story is not the destination. The audience is. Research, organizational experience, and real leadership situations are used to make complex ideas understandable without reducing them to slogans.
Ricardo’s work has reached more than 450,000 people across 126 industries and 20 countries. He holds the CSP, CMC, and PCC credentials, reflecting the unusual combination behind his work: professional speaking, management consulting, and executive coaching.
For event planners looking for more than inspiration, for a talk that can create perspective, shared language, and movement around a real organizational challenge, Ricardo brings the platform and the consulting room together.
