About
Dr. Nikolai A. Behr is an international keynote speaker, executive communication expert, media trainer, and crisis communication specialist. For more than 30 years, he has helped CEOs, board members, entrepreneurs, and senior leaders communicate with clarity, credibility, and impact — especially when the stakes are high.
As a keynote speaker, Dr. Behr focuses on leadership communication, media presence, crisis readiness, trust, and the future of executive visibility in an age of misinformation and artificial intelligence. His talks combine journalistic insight, boardroom experience, practical communication tools, and real-world examples from media, business, and public life. Audiences value his ability to make complex communication challenges clear, relevant, and directly applicable.
Dr. Behr is the author of two books on communication, leadership, and trust: Management Skill No. 1: Communication and The Age of Fakes!. His publications reflect his core belief that communication is not a soft skill, but a central leadership responsibility — especially in times of disruption, uncertainty, and declining trust.
Nikolai A. Behr has coached and trained more than 2,500 executives and leaders across industries including automotive, energy, finance, pharmaceuticals and technology. His work prepares leaders for media interviews, public appearances, crisis scenarios, investor communication, employee town halls, and challenging stakeholder conversations.
Before founding DIKT, Dr. Behr gained extensive experience in journalism, television, and corporate media, including corporate TV at BMW. He is also a lecturer at Univerities, bringing academic depth, practical business relevance, and a strong understanding of leadership realities into every keynote, workshop, and coaching engagement.
Known for his clear, precise, and highly practical style, Dr. Behr speaks and trains in German and English.
