The Dr. John B. Molidor Leadership Award is presented annually to an NSA member whose volunteer leadership exemplifies principled decision-making, thoughtful governance, and an unwavering commitment to serving the Association with both insight and heart.
This Award recognizes leaders who consistently place purpose over popularity, who strengthen systems rather than personalities, and whose steady, behind-the- scenes leadership elevates others while leaving the organization stronger and better than they found it.

Established in 2025 to honor the legacy of Dr. John B. Molidor, PhD, CSP, Past President of the National Speakers Association and the Global Speakers Federation, and recipient of the Cavett Award and the GSF International Ambassador Award, this Leadership Award celebrates a philosophy grounded in integrity, objectivity, and deep respect for process.
Throughout decades of service to NSA and the global speaking community, Dr. Molidor modeled a calm, steady approach to leadership, guided by data, fairness, and an unwavering commitment to ethical governance. His influence shaped systems, strengthened standards, and elevated countless leaders, often quietly and always thoughtfully.
His example reminds us that lasting impact is not created through visibility or ego, but through insight and heart, steady stewardship, and a lifelong dedication to serving others and the greater good.

The Dr. John B. Molidor Leadership Award is not based on visibility, popularity, or title. Each nomination is evaluated through a structured, evidence-based process designed to honor leaders who consistently demonstrate principled decision-making, thoughtful governance, and service to the Association.
Nominees are assessed against clearly defined criteria that reflect both how leadership decisions are made and how people are treated in the process.

To uphold the integrity and intent of this Award, nominees must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Nominee must be a current NSA member in good standing for a minimum of 10 years.
- Nominee may be self-nominated or nominated by a peer.
- Leadership impact must be verifiable and documented for the confidential nominations committee.
- No campaigning, endorsements, or solicitation permitted.
- Nominee must be willing to accept the Award at Influence, if selected, and receives complimentary registration to one NSA national event for the following year.

2025 | Liz Weber, CSP
Liz Weber, CSP, a national member since 2004, has served twelve years in board roles with the National Speakers Association, the NSA Foundation, and the Global Speakers Federation. Her leadership also includes key roles on strategic committees and task forces such as Strategic Planning, Volunteer Reimbursements, the GSF Review, the Foundation Bylaws Redraft, and the GSF Strategy Committee. She has served as Chapter President, presented extensively at the chapter, national, and international level, and is the recipient of nine NSA and GSF service awards recognizing her dedication and sustained contributions to the organization. Beyond titles and tenure, Liz is known for her calm, fair, and deeply principled approach, balancing thoughtful process with genuine care for people.
