In-person Family Picnic, August 13, 2023

Join us for our “Grow the Pie” Members Picnic at Beyer Lake between Molalla and Silverton. Bring your family and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, including kayaks, paddle boards, swimming, softball, and a picnic area. 

This event is a potluck, so please bring a dish or pie to share with fellow Members. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from NSA Oregon Members who attended NSA’S INFLUENCE and will be sharing their favorite takeaways from incredible speakers in our organization. 

Robert Cavett, the founder of National Speakers Association, popularized the philosophy of “grow the pie” within NSA Membership. The idea behind “grow the pie” is that rather than competing for a small slice of the pie, speakers should work together to expand the entire pie, benefiting everyone in the industry. By sharing knowledge, resources, and opportunities, speakers can grow the market and create more opportunities for everyone. 

This philosophy has become a central pillar of NSA’s values, and events like the “Grow the Pie” Members Picnic aim to bring us together to collaborate, learn, and expand the industry as a whole.
