The presentation is based on her insightful book 24 Ways to Get Paid to Speak. We’ll explore various speaking opportunities—from conferences to webinars—and how each can amplify their brand. Nona will share industry tips, including essential marketing materials like your speaker bio, one-sheet, and demo reel, and how to effectively position yourself as an expert. You’ll also discover how to identify the best events for your niche audience and how to find the right organizers to connect with.

Nona Prather is the owner of a booking agency for professional speakers, consultants, and entertainers. With over 30 years of experience in the speaking industry, she’s become an expert in helping individuals build successful speaking careers. Nona is also the author of 24 Ways to Get Paid to Speak and leads workshops on using paid speaking opportunities to attract clients and grow businesses. Outside of her professional work, Nona enjoys hiking in the mountains of New Mexico with her husband, daughter, and two dogs, embracing the beauty of the great outdoors.
