NSA ONline
Code of Conduct
Effective October 9, 2025
By registering for or participating in online spaces within or hosted by NSA, you agree to uphold NSA’s Online Code of Conduct. This policy builds upon and aligns with the NSA Code of Ethics and Professional Behavior.
Online spaces include meetings, events, courses, chat, commenting/discussion forums, community groups, and podcasts.
Educational Focus
NSA online spaces are focused on education. To maintain a high-value learning environment, participants may not:
- Sell or promote themselves, their business, their products, or their services (unless specifically contracted as a sponsor of NSA).
- Endorse or promote others for commercial purposes.
- Disrupt or repeatedly interrupt other participants.
- Offer unsolicited critique on the performance, product, service, business, or visual appearance of an identifiable NSA speaker or member.
- Distribute spam, offensive material, or inappropriate content.
- Harass, intimidate, insult, or disrespect other participants.
- Discriminate against others or promote discriminatory behavior of any kind.
- Obtain or use contact information from NSA spaces for any of the above or for any additional non-educational purpose without the individual’s consent.
Recordings & AI Tools
During live online events and interactions, NSA has sole responsibility for recording and transcribing, with the permission of the speaker. Participants may not record, capture content, or use AI notetaking tools in NSA live online spaces.
Content Access & Distribution
If an NSA online space requires registration, each registration is intended for a single individual. Sharing access links or viewing content in groups with non-registrants is not permitted without written permission from NSA.
If NSA distributes content intended only for registrants, attendees, or members, that content is for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or redistributed without written permission from NSA.
Accountability
NSA maintains a zero-tolerance policy and reserves the right to remove any content, participant, or tool that violates this policy. Serious or repeated violations may result in:
- Removal from an online space (without refund when applicable)
- Suspension or ban from NSA learning or community opportunities
- Review and potential revocation of NSA membership
If you witness or experience a violation of this policy, please notify the host during a live online interaction or email education@nsaspeaker.org.
NSA’s online spaces are designed to support learning, connection, and professional growth. Thank you for helping us maintain a respectful, inclusive, and engaging environment.
