Ann also recommends that you listen to the this episode of her Think and Grow Rich Mastermind Podcast.  \nAfter Ann’s presentation\, stick around for the Storytelling Competition! \nAnn McNeill\nAnn McNeill is the President of MCO Construction and Services Inc.\, MCO Consulting\, Inc.\, Constructively Speaking\, Inc.\, on the Board of Directors for Better Investing\, and Founder of the National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC). \nAnn McNeill is also the Founder and President/CEO of the International Mastermind Association\, an organization that helps people create work/life balance through goal setting and financial empowerment. The group has produced several authors\, such as Dr. Mia Y. Merritt\, and a host of other successful entrepreneurs. Ann McNeill is an influential figure in the construction industry\, currently serving as the President and CEO of MCO Construction\, one of South Florida’s premier African American female-owned construction companies. Since 1980\, MCO Construction remains a leading black-owned firm in the State of Florida\, specializing in construction management and project controls. Ann’s visionary leadership has \nguided the company to work on numerous iconic projects in South Florida\, including the Miami Airlines Arena\, Marlins Ballpark\, Miami International Airport\, Miami Science Museum\, Miami Children’s Courthouse\, Riviera Palm Beach Police Station\, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport\, Hartsfield Jackson Airport in Atlanta\, City of Riviera Beach Fire Station\, and City of West Palm Beach Police Station. \nAnn has also found tremendous success as a speaker\, coach\, and author is deeply rooted in her ability to create a blueprint for success\, assembling the essential materials to build a strong foundation for individuals to leverage their strengths. Recognizing the scarcity of women in the construction industry\, especially female licensed general contractors\, Ann was driven to create a network that would empower women in construction. Consequently\, she founded The National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC)\, dedicated to building a pipeline for black women in both the public and private sectors\, supporting black women entrepreneurs\, and inspiring young women to explore STEM fields\, with a focus on the construction industry. Under Ann’s guidance\, NABWIC has evolved into a dynamic network of professional women in the construction industry who mentor each other and facilitate the transformation of contacts into contracts\, epitomized by the “Billion Dollar Luncheon” held monthly. Ann’s accomplishments have earned her recognition and media coverage\, with features in Black Enterprise Magazine\, USA Today\, and ABC’s World News. Furthermore\, her commitment to excellence extends to her role on the Better Investing National Board. \nAnn also presides over MCO Consulting\, Inc.\, a consulting company that specializes in outreach\, monitoring\, and compliance for private sector firms involved in public sector projects. Throughout her illustrious career\, Ann has garnered numerous awards and honors\, not only for her contributions to the construction industry but also for her dedication to community service. She serves as the President and Founder of the International Mastermind Assoc.\, Inc. and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority\, Inc. and the West Palm Beach Rotary. \nAnn McNeill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Florida Memorial College (University) and a Master’s Degree in finance from Barry University. Beyond her professional accomplishments\, she is a loving mother to two remarkable daughters\, Danelle McNeill and Ionnie McNeill\, affectionately known as the “Baby Billionaire.” She also cherishes her role as a grandmother to two delightful grandchildren\, Malachi and Rajah-Nia. Ann’s personal life is enriched by her marriage to her devoted husband\, Daniel McNeill. \nIn 2023\, Ann McNeill achieved another significant milestone by becoming an inductee of the National Academy of Construction (NAC) and receiving the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) DEI Award\, and now serves as the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) Palm Beach County\, President. DESCRIPTION:Unlock Your Storytelling Potential with LAST STORY STANDING \nhttps://events.nsasocal.org/NSASoCalStorytellingCompetition-REGISTERHERE \nReady to unleash your inner storytelling champion? \nDo you aspire to refine your speechcraft skills and collaborate with the best in the business? \nWant a chance to speak on the national stage at Influence this year? \nIf you’re eager to elevate your storytelling to new heights and make your story unforgettable\, then look no further! \nWelcome to NSA SoCal’s LAST STORY STANDING Storytelling Competition – a platform \ncrafted by professional speakers\, exclusively for professional speakers. \nThis competition offers a thrilling journey through three levels: Chapter\, Regional\, and \nNATIONAL. \nFebruary 8\, 2025 at 1130am on Zoom \nVideo submission due by 5 PM PST on February 1\, 2025 \nCompetition Details: \n \n\nThree Tracks: Competitors are evaluated on three critical aspects – PURPOSE\, IMPACT\, and DELIVERY.\nChapter Membership: To participate\, you need to be a member of an NSA Chapter.\nVideo submission: You must submit a video recording showcasing your story to the chapter to secretary@nsasocal.org by February 1\, 2025. Videos must be no more than 5 minutes.\nChapter Competition: Stories will be showcased after the chapter meeting on February 8 at TIME in front of a live audience on Zoom. There will be a panel of 3 judges who will choose the winner of the chapter’s competition.\nRegional Advancement: The WINNER of the NSA SoCal submissions then advances to the Regional competition\, with NSA SoCal covering the entire $500 Regional Level entry fee.\nStorytelling Consistency: If your story is selected at the Chapter-Entry Level\, it needs to remain consistent throughout the Regional and National Levels. While you can enhance it based on feedback and coaching\, the core story remains unchanged.\nMentorship at Regional Level: Regional competitors will have the privilege of working with a mentor to refine their Chapter Champion story\, followed by the submission of their final Regional entry video.\nNational Grand Finale: Regional Finalists earn the chance to compete at the National Competition held during Influence\, NSA’s national conference this July 26-29\, 2025. The competition takes place on the mainstage\, where panelists provide constructive feedback. Notably\, the audience plays a significant role in voting for the National Champion.\nRewards for National Finalists: All National Finalists receive NSA Website Mentions\, Elite-Level Mentor Sessions\, Mainstage Recording and Photos\, NSA Email and Social Media Recognition\, and a Trophy for the National Champion!\n\nAre you ready to become a part of this storytelling journey?
